Alfred Stieglitz was once asked, “How does a photographer learn?”

“By looking,” he replied.

This is our starting point, our mid-point and our endpoint. You don’t learn photography by buying more expensive cameras or longer lenses, but by taking your time to really see, to really look, before squeezing the shutter.

No amount of fancy equipment can replace the ability to recognise what will make an excellent photograph.
